I'm chicken…

I’m not afraid of much…

- I love flying.
- I really love roller coasters (the higher/faster the better)!
- I have no problems with needles.
- Most bugs I can handle

Wanna know what I’m absolutely terrified of?

Scary Movies

Yes, you read that right.  I’m afraid of scary movies.  It’s not just I’ll go to one and close my eyes afraid.  It’s I won’t (not even for a MILLION dollars) ever.ever.EVER go to one EVER!  If a movie looks even somewhat scary there’s no way in hell that you’ll get me to go.  Poltergeist, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street I’ve never seen any of them and I likely NEVER will.

Haunted Houses

This goes right along with scary movies.  You will NEVER EVER get me to walk through a haunted house.  It just won’t ever happen, believe me people have tried.  I’m just as happy and content escorting your ass to the haunted house and waiting for you outside, because that’s the kind of friend I am.  This phobia may stem from the fact that my parents took me to a haunted house when I was 5.  There were clowns and scary goblins jumping out of every crevice of that house and grabbing at my legs.  I was scared out of my skin and have never entered a haunted house since.  So, yeah,  you can thank my parents for that!

What are you afraid of?

So you don’t want to do Night Stalkers with me over valentines weekend? Going through a darkened haunted with only a glow stick. Which could be lost or stolen. Then you have to find your way through the dark?! yah….I don’t either

I’m not fan of either, um, either. Intentionally setting out to scare myself – even when I know it’s coming – is NOT my idea of fun.

I am better with scary movies since we can watch them at home. I don’t do scary/haunted house either. I am afraid of large spiders and snakes.

I’m no fan of scary movies either, but what really freaks me out are snakes.

Haunted Houses. Check. I don’t like being scared in person. I can handle the movies because I can say “It’s not real.” But when someone jumps out from around a corner or a dead looking thing with real looking blood – that’s real and it’s freaky!

For some reason knowing it’s not real doesn’t seem to help me.

Spiders and roaches send me to the edge! They are super creepy! I don’t like scary movies AT ALL and will cover my face during them so as not to completely freak out.

Yeah, I don’t do roaches either!

I am completely with you on both of those. I don’t even like the preview for scary movies. I have literally had nightmares from previews.

Also? I can list the semi-scary movies I’ve seen in the past 15 years on one hand.

I can’t stand rollercoasters because I almost fell out of one when I was in 5th grade.

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like them either if I almost fell out of one. I really miss have Six Flags Astroworld here in Houston.
