Amazing Greis

Hope…

Now, more than ever, Layla Grace and her family NEED our continued thoughts and prayers. Old and NEW tumors are taking over her sweet 2 year old body and, unless there’s a miracle, her time here on Earth will be coming to an end a lot sooner than expected.

I’m hoping for a miracle.
One that will heal sweet Layla of her pain and her discomfort.
One that will rid her small body of all the tumors and convert her back to the happy & healthy little girl that she was a short 10 months ago.

Today I will not ask why or how.
Today I will put my faith back into God’s hands.
I will ask Him to keep Layla comfortable and relatively pain free.
I will ask Him to watch over the entire Marsh Family.
I will ask Him to bring peace to Shanna and Ryan, Layla’s parents.
I will ask Him to give Layla’s oldest sister, Jenna, strength and understanding. She’ll turn 9 tomorrow.
I will ask Him to continue to watch over Claire, Layla’s middle sister, she’s only 3.

If you’re the praying type I ask that you, too, please say a prayer today for Layla. If you’re not the praying type I just ask that you please keep Layla and her family in your thoughts and close to your heart.

I prayed for them last night, before I went to bed. Will continue to pray today. I honestly can’t follow them on Twitter or their blog because it’s just too upsetting. Nobody should have to endure all that that family has been through.

What a beautiful post. I’ve been following Layla’s story for a few days now. She weighs heavily on my heart. I see stories like hers often but none have touched me the same way as hers. I’ve been praying nonstop for her and her family. I pray for a miracle.

I have recently heard of sweet Layla. I can’t stop thinking about her. I am praying everyday for Layla to find comfort and for her family to stay strong. This story just truly breaks my heart. I see so much of my youngest daughter in her big blue eyes.
