Wish I was going, I grew up in Chicago and have lots of friends there. Have a wonderful time. If you girls have time you need to go to Gino's East and have the deep dish pizza. I miss that more than anything. I lived there for 37 yrs.
We lived off of Route 66 in a town
call Western Springs. When we moved to CA we lived off of a street called Foothill which is also Route 66. Have fun.
