It’s been over 2 weeks since Maddie’s passing and my heart continues to break for the Spohr’s.
A day doesn’t pass without thoughts of Maddie crossing my mind.
I will never be able to look at the color purple again without seeing Maddie’s BIG smile and her beautiful blue eyes.
The effect that this little girl has had on me, and many others around the country, is pretty phenomenal. Maddie will always hold a piece of my heart and my thoughts and prayers will radiate out to the Spohr’s indefinitely.

This weekend kicks off the first of MANY March of Dimes – March for Babies walks around the country. There have been over 50 teams created around the U.S. in honor of Maddie, with over $55,000 being raised for the March of Dimes. The LOVE and SUPPORT has been really surreal and very AMAZING. I will be walking with Team Houston on Sunday.
It’s 5 miles for a great cause.
Our team, of 6, has raised over $1800 in just under 2 weeks.
I look forward to walking with new friends as we honor Maddie.
I have no doubt that she will be there, looking down upon us;
Smiling her trademark smile and walking with us.
Maddie we’re doing it for you.
