Randomness because I’ve been lazy busy…
I’ve been so lazy busy this past week and have had no time to put together an actual REAL post. So, I’m going to hit ya’ll up with all kinds of RANDOMNESS. Just things I’ve had on my mind or my opinion on newsworthy items.
So prepare yourself for some CAH-RAZY!
~ Big Brother 11:
This season is driving me absolutely INSANE!!! I know the lying and back-stabbing and all that CRAP just comes with the territory, and with living in the house, but come on already. I can’t stand NataLIE, she is the biggest liar and schemer, but has come off clean because everyone else has done her dirty work. If she wins I will NEVER watch the show EVER EVER again. I’m totally serious this time, for realz!
~ Chris Brown vs. Plaxico Burress:
Does anyone else think that the punishments handed down to Chris & Plaxico should be flip flopped? Seriously, you beat up your girlfriend, and you get 1400 hours of community service. You carry an illegal concealed weapon into a NYC bar and accidentally shoot YOURSELF in the leg and you get 2 years in prison. Am I the only one that sees something wrong with this picture? Yes, both men should be punished for their crimes. But, in my opinion, 2 years for carrying the gun and shooting yourself is a little much & community service for domestic violence is NOT enough.
~ The President:
The hot topic in my neck of the woods today is the upcoming Presidential Speech for the Children. I’m OK with President Obama giving a speech, geared towards children, regarding education. Do I think it needs to be aired at school? Not necessarily. Do I think parental consent should be required before a child watches? Absolutely. I know that President Obama’s “people” are stating that the speech will be all about education and staying in school and such, but it is still political, and if you, as a parent, don’t want your child being accosted in school with politics then it is your right, as a parent, to say “my child will not attend the viewing.” I don’t really see what the BIG deal is either way. If you want your child to view the speech that’s great. If you don’t that’s OK too. Why must parents continue to bash each other over their differing points of view?
~ Football season:
My second favorite sport kicks off exactly ONE WEEK from today! And since my Astros are sucking it up this season I’m really looking forward to football. NFL Football, Fantasy Football & College Football it’s all great! My “for money” fantasy draft is Sunday. There will likely be alcohol involved and if you would all cross your fingers and hope that a really good draft number is drawn, I would so greatly appreciate it!!! College football could be another post all in itself. I love college football. It’s fun watching guys play for the love of the game, you know, before the greediness sets in. Go Texans and Hook’em Horns!!!
~ The new television season:
With the fall comes a new television season. Here, in the next few weeks, all of my favorite shows will be starting up again. There will finally be an end to the many cliff hangers. I’m really looking forward to the new season of Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Survivor, The Amazing Race and The Biggest Loser. My horrible television watching habits will be back in full force. And my DVR will be in over-drive. What shows are you most looking forward to?
This seems like enough random for now.
I’m tired and ready for bed and just can’t think of any more random things to write about.
Hope you all have an AWESOME holiday weekend!!! I plan on being lazy and getting my tan on.
What are your plans?

P.S. I realize I never wrapped up my 30 20 Days of {BLANK} posts, that will follow soon, I promise.
P.P.S. I also realize I never finished posting my BlogHer recap. I’ve had the draft 1/2 written for a while now, just haven’t finished. Not sure that anyone really cares any more, but I will be posting those soon too.
