I’m leavin’ on a jet plane cruise ship…
Today I depart on my summer fall vacation, and to say I’m excited is an UNDERSTATEMENT! If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook you are well aware of my plans. I’m sure my countdown has become overly annoying to most. What can I say, I’m excited!
Today I’m boarding the ship below and embarking on my first EVER cruise. I’ll be sailing the high seas, on the Carnival Conquest, with two of my closest friends, Vanessa & Carrie, and living it up Caribbean style.
For the next 7 days I will be oblivious to anything in the real world. There will be no Internet, no Twitter, no Facebook and no iPhone (how will I ever survive!), well unless I sneak away to the Internet Cafe to check in, which is very likely at least once. But, really, who needs Twitter when you’re on a ship with 24 hour buffets?
The Conquest will take me to three ports (Jamaica, Cayman Islands & Cozumel) where shopping, eating, drinking and shore excursions will be planned. The other 3 days will be spent at sea where I will have the sun, the pool and cold drinks within an arms reach away. Did I mention there’s a water slide? I will definitely be perusing the water slide more than once.
So, Internetz, I’ll be away for the next week. I’ll be taking lots of pictures and I’m sure I’ll have LOTS to talk about when I return. But don’t think you’re totally getting rid of me, I have a few posts scheduled while I’m away, because we all know the Internet never takes a vacation.
