Letter to Santa…
Dear Santa,
I know it’s been years since I’ve last written. And I’m sorry. I promise I will make it a point to send my letter yearly, like I did when I was in High School Elementary School.
This year I’m thankful for my health and for an amazing family.
I’m thankful for my on-line community of friends, they all make my day brighter and more fun!
I’m thankful for my IRL friends. The ones who stick with me through thick & thin. The ones who make it a point to include me in their every day lives.
With so many things/people to be thankful for this holiday season I’m sure you’re asking what more could I possibly want/need. And you are absolutely right, I have a LOT. So, this year I’m sending you my “OhMahGawd how awesome would it be if Santa brought me _________!” wish list. The following are all things I could definitely live without, but they would all make my life so much more enjoyable & fun!!!
1. Tickets to Blissdom in Tennessee, because I need to see my friends.
A plane ticket & a hotel room would be great too!
2. 2 tickets to the BCS National Championship in Pasadena, CA.
Because my Texas Longhorns need me there to cheer them on to victory. We will Roll that Tide!!! Hook’em Horns!
3. Dyson DC25
Everyone knows that Dyson is the bomb diggity of all vacuum cleaners and I really need one. I know that my housekeeping would improve by 100% if I had this baby to help with my vacuuming needs!
(I’m not picky, I really like the purple one, but the yellow one would be OK too.)
4. Canon EOS Rebel XSi DSLR Camera
I love taking pictures, but the quality with my point & shoot just isn’t there. I need a quality camera and Canon is a quality brand. My picture taking hobby would benefit greatly from a new pretty shiny DSLR camera.
5. MacBook Air
Right now I’m a PC person.
I really, really, really want to be a Mac person, but have you seen the prices lately?
I currently use my work lap top for my at home computing needs, but there’s only so many websites I can browse form a work issued computer, and quite frankly losing my job over visits to Eden Fantasys is so not worth it.
There you have it, Santa. That’s my wish list for 2009.
I know that my wishes are lofty and, quite frankly, even if I get none of the above my holiday will still be great.
I’ve got so many other presents in my life to be thankful for.
Love always,
